A founding member of Broken Bay Oyster Association, Aglign (Mattamatta oysters) grow premium oysters in each of the Hawkesbury’s six main growing regions Porto Bay, Mullet Creek, Mooney Creek, Marramarra Creek, Kimerakong Bay and Coba Bay. Each growing area has its own unique environmental and growth features that contribute to the premium condition and unique tastes that Hawkesbury River grown oysters are renowned for.
Aglign has utilised many new and sustainable management practices to achieve the tenets and goals of BBOA and ensure customers and consumers have access to the best and most consistent product possible. Aglign and its staff have a keen interest in river water quality and sustainable production of the best oysters possible, and utilise the practice principles . Aglign is a significant employer and contributor to innovation and growth in the NSW oyster industry and a keen supporter of the BBOA and its role in quality marketing, river stewardship and producer of NSW’s best oysters. As Aglign (Mattamatta) continues to build its ability to supply quantities of quality oysters, we seek to consolidate long term and beneficial relationships with government, community and business partners to secure a long term future for the Broken Bay brand.
Aglign welcomes enquiries from both public and business interests and encourage interested parties to ask and understand the quality of our products and the importance of a long term sustainable oyster industry on the Hawkesbury River. Call or call in and see us.
